Hello all, I’ve been invited to try Time4Learning’s online curriculum for one month in exchange for a review of their program. I have my 6th, 3rd and kindergarten age children signed up. For all you home educators out there, come back and read my experience with Time4Learning.com.
We have finished our one month trial with Time4Learning and the girls thoroughly enjoyed it. The lessons were fantastic and set up in an organized, comprehensive manner. It was wonderful to know that the girls were actually learning important things, even through their playful giggles.
ReplyDeleteThe one difficulty we experienced is that online learning can become tricky if you have a few of your students signed up. We experienced this challenge, but it's important to note that I had a rigorous curriculum already planned for each of the girls for the school year, so it was not a priority for them to be online. We looked at this one month with Time4Learning as a "bonus" for enhancing those things that were already being learned. They certainly looked forward to "bonus" time, a definite treat.
If I were to fully commit to having Time4Learning as the bulk of the girls' curriculum, I would make it a priority to organize it in such a way that each one had their own time on the computer. Creating a schedule for three students is manageable. I can see that this could be a challenge, however, for the larger family. Setting up a well-structured schedule or utilizing a second computer could instantly remedy that challenge, I'm sure.
Thank you, Time4Learning, for a great program. You are definitely our first choice if online learning is something we choose to do in the future. Keep up the excellent work.
